No one meeting me today would believe that I was the awkward, introverted kid who’d rather be left alone then forced to socialize. But internally I was so envious of those larger-than-life people who oozed charisma and effortlessly conversed with whomever they pleased. As I grew older it was clear that “those” people were the ones that kept getting the better jobs, having the largest social circles, and romantic relationships were a breeze for them.
Frustratedly, I began to study them meticulously… hoping to find a system or formula that I could adapt which would bring me closer to being like them. I read books, studied their behaviors, took courses, signed-up for webinars, attended seminars (I even changed my undergraduate major to sociology!)- and though I got marginally better; it still felt fake and forced.
Years of inner-deep self-exploratory work, alongside the invaluable teachings of my mentors, I finally realized the missing piece: the KNOWING in your very core that you innately possess all the tools within you to connect, and you don’t need anyone’s validation for any way you feel or any thing you do anymore! This lead to the birth of powerfully letting go and the empowered way of living, loving, and leading: Welcome THE LIONHEARTED WAY!
